The MEFS 5 mental skills training is the game-changer mental training that will exponentially improve your day-to-day performance. This training is essential if you want an edge over your regular sports and/or academic regular preparation.

The 10-hour MEFS 5 Skills training consists of 5 modules of two sessions each. Participants are taught each mental skill along with techniques to reach their mental edge. Ultimately, you will become empowered to be self-aware and to practice your mental skills during practices and games, in academics, and in daily life.

Mindset EDGE

Our mind is a powerful tool and developing the appropriate mindset is the key to helping athletes find motivation, work hard, and face adversity.
Once an athlete’s mindset has shifted towards growth and positivity they will notice more motivation, better mood states, and more mental toughness.

SELF-TALK EDGE

Self-talk is the dialogue in an athlete’s mind that can either hinder or increase performance. Gaining awareness of and challenging self-talk is important to performance.

After improving an utilizing effective self-talk an athlete will notice better technical improvements, less mental distractions, and improved focus.

CONFIDENCE EDGE

Sport confidence in athletes is their belief in their ability to be successful at completing a task, skill, or challenge. Athletes need confidence to drive them towards peak performance, without confidence athletes cannot perform at their best.

After learning how to improve their confidence an athlete will notice more flow states, improved decision making, and increased performance.

2 Sessions. 1 Hour per session

MINDFULNESS & BREATHING EDGE

Mindfulness is the process of intentionally paying attention to the present moment and accepting things as they are without judgement. Athletes need to learn and practice mindfulness in order to find and stay in their flow state.

Once an athlete implements the practice of mindfulness they will notice better concentration, an improved ability to let go of things they cannot change, and increased emotional regulation.

IMAGERY & VISUALIZATION EDGE

Imagery is the act of visualizing or picturing something in our minds to rehearse, prepare, and practice outside of formal practices. Athletes need imagery in order to get more reps in without the physical toll, build confidence by creating successful reps, and gain control of their sport performance. 

Athletes will notice an increase in confidence, improved physical performance, more goal attainment, and more consistent performance.
