Peak Performance TESTING

Performance is 90% mental and 10% physical. When it comes to peak performance, the brain is key.

At MEFS, thanks to cutting edge technology and science-based tools and techniques we can now see, analyze and understand how your brain is performing and create training programs to improve its performance and reach peak performance.

Among these technologies, Neurofeedback and Brain mapping are used by elite performers around the world.

What Is a Brain Map?

A qEEG brain map gives a visual representation of how your brain is functioning and gives you the ability to visually and see your unique patterns. We can see mental strengths and weaknesses categorized into executive processing, memory processing, visual processing, and more.
"Think of a qEEG brain map as a mental fitness assessment for your brain. Brain map only measures your brain waves to report activity."

Think of a qEEG brain map as a mental fitness assessment for your brain. This is a non-invasive process, we simply read and analyze your brain's electrical activity. The Quantitative Electroencephalogram (qEEG) is a highly sensitive and reliable assessment tool used to evaluate brainwaves.

A qEEG brain map gives us vital information to help identify areas of the brain that may be over-active or under-active. By identifying the areas with abnormal activity, we can predict what type of symptoms or challenges you may be experiencing. For example, if specific brain areas involved in focus and attention are functioning poorly, you may have difficulty paying attention, stay calm, low performance... and with brain mapping, we will know exactly where to train to help you regulate more efficiently.

Same way you need a physical assessment when training with a personal trainer, a brain map is your brain’s assessment of how you are performing.

Who should get a Brain Map?

Everyone. Whether you're looking to understand the observable challenges you face with attention, mood, reaction time, concentration, confidence, learning difficulties, memory, trauma, sleep, emotional conditions, or simply looking to optimize your brain's performance. Whether you are an achiever, an athlete, an entrepreneur, an executive, a student, a senior, etc., you can have a brain map.

"Whether you are an Achiever, Athlete, Business Owner, Entrepreneur, Employee, an Executive, a Student, Senior..."

Daily stress, temporary life problems, daily routines, anxiety, lack of energy, chronic emotions, brain imbalances, etc. can cause our brains to malfunction. We are an active society where there is a constant demand for our attention in all areas of our life. We are expected to make decisions and perform at a consistent high level. The quality of your performance and the ability to perform consistently at that level depends primarily on the performance of your brain.

Brain Map Types

The 19-channel Brainmap: The first and most comprehensive option is a 19-channel brain map that looks at over 19 different areas of the brain. With this assessment we are able to target specific areas of the brain, providing a very detailed targeted training program.

"We offer two types of mental performance assessments,
the 19-channel and the 12-channel"

The 12-channel Brainmap: The second option is a little less robust, but still very effective. It’s a 12-channel brain map that looks at 12 areas of the brain. It’s not quite as detailed, but still provides an effective brain map and allows us to create a good training program.

What Happens During My qEEG Assesment

Getting your brain mapped is simple, painless and a quick process. During your initial assessment we will place an EEG sensor cap on your head, similar to a swimmers cap. We will place a little gel in the cap so that we can begin the recording process. We will then take you through a series of simple mental exercises while your brain activity is being recorded. After the recording is complete, we will meet with you to go over your results.

The Brain Map Results

Once your brain mapping assessment is complete, we will get a visual representation of your brainwaves, your performance and your potential.  MEFS brain mapping provides information about cognitive functioning, memory, mood and motivation, focus and attention, processing abilities, learning abilities, stress and anxiety and more.

"You will have an insight of the overall functioning of your brain."

This information will allow you to learn how you are performing, and where and how much you need to improve. It also helps us to create a customized training program to reach peak performance.

What is the Benefit of Understanding How Your Brain is Functioning?

How do you know how far you can go if you don’t know where you are? Think about your brainmap as a baseline assessment of your mental performance. Seeing and understanding how your brain is performing gives you insight on the areas you need to improve to reach your overall goals.

Most people find it fascinating and exciting to get their brain mapped. It is a measure of how your brain is functioning and most people find comfort and validation in getting a measure on those expectations and feel relief knowing that it can be shifted and improved through neurofeedback and other techniques at Mental Edge Fitnesss Solution, Inc.

What Happens After I Have my Brain Mapped?

After we have completed the brain mapping process, from there we create a customized neurofeedback training program if you need it. The training will boost the areas that has too little or too much activity, and areas that are not coordinating at an optimal performance

"...boosts the areas of your brain that has too little or too much activity, and areas that are not coordinating at an optimal performance."

Over time through the use of neurofeedback sessions, you will train your brain to function optimally, tap into your brain’s peak performance and help you unlock your highest potential.

Elite Performers that are Taking Advantage of this Technology

Neurofeedback is becoming mainstream and is being used all over the world by Olympic athletes, colleges and universities, and high-profile celebrities who express the impact it’s had on their careers and performance.

What is Neurofeedback?

Neuro = Brain   |   Feedback = Response

Neurofeedback, also known as brain training or EEG biofeedback, is about “feedback” from the brain and it helps train brain activity and improve cognitive performance. It works by  placing a few harmless sensors (readers)  on the scalp to measure and monitor brain activity intended to train someone to gain voluntary control over that brain function. Neurofeedback is a subset or a type of biofeedback.

"The objective of a Neurofeedback training session revolves around training the brain towards optimal function allowing individuals to self-regulate and achieve peak performance."

It's a real procedure that involves brain training to improve performance and/or alleviate specific issues like insomnia, anxiety, or even depression. The objective of a neurofeedback training session revolves around training towards optimal function allowing individuals to self-regulate and reach peak performance and maintain it.

How does Our Brain Work?

Our brain is electrical and operates as one big neural network constantly sending signals and communicating with other areas of our brain and body. Our life experiences and the perception of those experiences can cause our brain to constantly rewrite or change its own elaborate circuitry, causing positive or sometimes negative changes in our brain's functioning. This brain change is known as neuroplasticity. Although normal brain activity should be a common thread, daily stress, temporary life issues, heavy athletic training and competitions, school grades pressure, business challenges, daily routines, anxiety, chronic emotions, pain, imbalances, lack of sleep, etc., most frequently limit our performance.

"The speed of the electrical energy flowing through the brain is known as our processing speed or brainwaves..."
